About Me

Hello! I'm Dee! I've been a  pet "guardian" for more than 30 years and I've spent the last 12 years volunteering extensively in animal rescue. I've worked with many shelter dogs and fostered more than 100 orphan kittens and done TNR (trap/neuter/return) on more than 50 feral cats. Prior to Covid, I was a corporate event planner and concierge in Texas but I recently moved back home to Alabama and wanted to start a business based on my love of animals.

Over the last 25 years, I've worked for various animal welfare non profits, including Hand-in-Paw and the Alabama Wildlife Rescue Center near Birmingham. I also worked with various animal rescue organizations in Texas including Austin Pets Alive and Operation Kindness (Dallas).  I've been fostering for the Greater Huntsville Humane Society since March 2020.   I've been spoiling my own fur babies for years and I'll do the same for your pets. 

I love taking care of animals and people. I take great pride in not only making sure your pets are having a safe and fun time but that you feel secure and worry free while you are away from them, knowing that they are being loved and protected.  I'll send plenty of pictures and updates while your pets are in my care so you'll always know they are enjoying themselves.
